PROCUREMENT ENGINEER

Provide technical guidance, support and the innovation necessary to ensure availability of raw materials and services required to meet business objectives.  Act as a buyer for technical materials and head up strategic pricing project.  Resolve technical issues between the supplier, production and engineering.  Experience in purchasing contracts and purchase order terms and conditions.  Solve make vs. buy decisions.  Strong negotiating skills.  Provide sourcing support.  Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3-5 years experience desired. Excellent communication skills.  Working knowledge of MRP system, parameters and theory.

OUTSIDE SALES ENGINEER

Must be enthusiastic and self-motivated.  Responsible for gaining new sales opportunities through developing and maintaining new and current customer relations.  Ability to identify potential new markets and new customers.  Travel extensively domestically and possible international travel.  Identify customer purchasing potential.  Provide product training to customers.  Maintain professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity and tact to portray the company in a positive manner.  Use market data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency.  Strong communication skills.  Bachelor Degree in engineering or technical field and 5 years experience in technical sales preferred.  Must be well organized, be aggressive and work well under pressure.  Friendly and outgoing personality a plus.  Ability to negotiate major deals.

QUALITY CONTROL/CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER

Oversee continuous improvement activities to eliminate waste within the value streams and improve overall product quality, manufacturing capability, and process control through the use of Lean and other quality concepts such as SPC, Pareto/trend analysis, etc.  Perform root cause analysis and follow up on corrective action for materials and production issues.  Provide technical expertise and leadership to quality inspectors to ensure products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system. Drive continuous improvements that relate to quality.  Bachelor’s degree in appropriate engineering discipline or science.  Two years related experience helpful.  Working knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality Management System.  Thorough knowledge of state-of-the-art inspection techniques, procedures, instruments, equipment, theories and principles.  Prefer ASQ Certification, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification and/or ISO Internal Auditor Certification.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Manage supervisors of buyers and production planners, procurement engineer and manufacturing.  Responsible for strategic planning for the operations area and continuous improvement in all areas of operations. Drive initiative in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence.  Guide materials management to manage material requirements to increase inventory turns and reduce inventory levels. 

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and five years experience in operations.  Technical skills, analytical abilities, and strong operational focus desired.  Six sigma green/black belt. CPIM, CSCP, or SPC certification a plus.  Strong communication skills and must possess high ethical standards.  Have the ability to provide vision, direction and focus to this demanding role.  Working knowledge of MRP system, parameters and theory.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Create or modify drawings and bills of material for use in standard and custom products.  Will have mechanical design responsibilities as well as project management responsibilities on given projects.  Create custom components, concepts and design for new products, including R&D testing of the concepts and design.  Cradle to grave design and support of new products.  Responsible for design, development and building custom test and/or production equipment for new products.  Support inside and outside sales as necessary.  Help solve production problems that require engineering assistance.  Some limited travel or engineering support, training and/or trade shows.  Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.  Proficient in SolidWorks or other solid modeling programs, basic knowledge of FEA, fluid flow and thermodynamics.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY

Perform basic assembly functions of heaters and controllers to specifications while ensuring standard manufacturing practices are followed.  Works under the general leadership of the Department Lead in identifying inventory, pulling parts, making components, assembling components, wiring and testing product.  Prepares product for shipment.  Must be dependable and detail orientated.  Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

MACHINIST 1ST SHIFT

Seeking an experienced machinist. Must be able to follow instructions and be able to work with fractions and decimals.  Must have experience on manual Bridgeport or Cleveland milling machines and be able to read and work from drawings.  Some experience machining plastics a plus.  Some CNC experience would be helpful, but not required.

WELDER

Local manufacturer is seeking an experienced tig welder to fabricate metals using specified welding processes. Must be able to read blueprints and work with little supervision. Strong mechanical and math capabilities. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
